COVID-19 and Telehealth

Any psychologist providing services to a client located in Washington state must have either a temporary practice permit or a full license issued by Washington state (for any reason, any length of time, etc.). No exceptions!

The temporary permit has no fee, allows up to 90 calendar (not consecutive) days of psychological services, including telepsychology. You may apply online for a temporary permit.

Telehealth is allowed under the Washington state psychologist license. Review the telepsychology guidelines for further information.
